DELIVERY INFO & TRACKING
The Hat Store extends standard and express delivery services to all Australian customers.
Standard shipping: Delivery times primarily depend on location, typically taking 4 to 8 business days, sometimes longer for rural or remote areas. Parcels are dispatched from our Southport warehouse, with the chosen method based on your location. All parcels include full tracking information sent with your dispatch confirmation. Deliveries occur on weekdays.
Express delivery: Typically takes 2-3 business days for metro/CBD areas and 3-5 business days for rural/remote areas. All shipments are equipped with tracking provided at the time of dispatch from our warehouse. Tracking is automated through our shipping couriers, which can include Startrack Express, Australia Post, Fastway, and Couriers Please.
For most international destinations, The Hat Store offers Standard, Express, and Premium Express shipping options:
- Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery times range from 8 to 12 business days.
- Express: Anticipated delivery within 5-7 business days.
- DHL: Expedited delivery estimated at 2-3 business days. Please note these times are guidelines and may vary based on the final destination, with major cities typically experiencing faster deliveries than rural areas.
In-stock orders are dispatched within 24-48 hours of being received, excluding weekends. All parcels come with full tracking information, with details provided in your dispatch confirmation. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee delivery times, as we have no direct control over our freight providers.
Orders received after 12 pm (AEST) will be dispatched on the following business day.
By default, we send all parcels with an Authority To Leave. This means the delivery driver will leave the parcel without requiring a signature if it's safe to do so. In case a signature is not obtainable, a card will be left with instructions on how to obtain your parcel. The method varies based on the selected carrier and may be to your local Post Office or through courier redelivery.
To ensure the safety, convenience, and speed of your parcels, we utilize a combination of Australia Post, Star Track, and DHL Express.
You'll receive comprehensive tracking information in your dispatch confirmation email. Please check your "Junk Folder," as tracking emails may occasionally be automatically filtered there.
Our experienced warehouse team lovingly packs all parcels into sturdy boxes or robust satchels to safeguard your items. These same boxes and satchels can be utilized for returning items to The Hat Store. If your parcel arrives damaged, please do not accept it from the courier. It will be Returned-To-Sender, and we will dispatch another hat for you. The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for faults and notifying us within 5 working days of receiving the goods in case of any faults. We will replace faulty goods.
CHANGES TO DELIVERY
We strive to accommodate changes on orders where possible. However, once you receive your dispatch confirmation, we are unable to change the address.
We welcome international visitors to browse some of the finest Australian hat brands. Freight costs will vary based on your country. After selecting items and proceeding to the "cart" and then "go to cart," you will have the opportunity to obtain a quote for the freight to your country.
On rare occasions, customs may choose to delay individual shipments as a random security measure. When ordering for international deliveries, please understand and agree to the following:
- Customers are responsible for any applicable customs charges, duties, or tariffs for their country.
- Customers understand that if goods sent from us are impounded by customs, delivery charges and the cost of goods will not be refunded.
- Customers understand that if the goods are returned, the customer will be charged for all shipping charges (to and from the customer).
